bathroom water...ew!
When one of my kids wakes up at night for a drink of water, I blindly search through their play kitchen and find a play cup for them to drink water from? The cup is so small I usually end up having to refill it numerous times from their bathroom sink before they've had their fill. If this is for Cailin she complains the whole time about the grossness of bathroom water and I get completely irritated with her. We argue the entire time about how irrational that is. In the amount of time that whole process takes, I could have walked the 15 feet back into my bedroom and grabbed my own water bottle for them, save the effort of refilling and not have to listen to Cailin bitching. But, how much fun would that be at 3:30 in the morning?

eww! I'm with Cailin. I know it makes no sense but I can't drink water from the bathroom tap either.
Sorry, grossed out here as well :) I have a water bottle for Emily by the bed. I refuse to get up for drinks!
You guys do remember that we drink out of our tap here and its good water. Not Arizona nasty brown chemical water. The tap water in the bathroom is the same as the tap water in the kitchen.
I'm with you Jenny. when I'm tired I'm tired and too bad for my kids. Sometimes I search Justin's floor for waterbottles when he's thirsty. I have no clue how long they've been there. But, luckily, Justin could care less.

I do the same thing when my kids are in my bed. I have a collection of way too old bottles of water around my nightstand. Avrie will drink from any of them.
Sometimes Scott will do water duty and make the trip all the way out to the kitchen, completely oblivious of the umpteen cups littered around our room and the kids!
