First we went to the Pumpkin patch in the morning...rain, mud, muck, cold and all!
Then we went trick-or -treating, the kids got a ton of candy!
Next we went to a Halloween party at the church, which was a perfect place for Steve to win the "Most Original Costume" contest.
Steve was the hit of the party. Look! Helmet, backpack and everything.
Even the name tag...here is a closeup.
It was so funny, I've never seen Steve in a white shirt before. While we were trick-or-treating I would bust a gut everytime I looked over at him. He looked exactly like a Mormon missionary. He even had someone at the church party fooled.
Then it was home from the party, with TONS of candy...
Then Avrie passed out from complete exhaustion...
Yeah right!

Steve's costume was my VERY favorite. He really did look just like a missionary. the part in his hair, the helmet...loved it.
April was telling me about his costume today. It's one of those "I can make fun of the Mormons because I'm married to one" things.
Steve is hilarious! I laughed so hard and I made Jared come and look at the pictures. He's got guts. I don't know if I could get the nerve to do that.
EXCELLENT costume! And the video reminds me of when Kyra was that age and we finally realized it was a sugar high.
I totally forgot that Steve was going to do that! I love it! I wish we had been there to see it. Classic.
